Leadership & Management Funding
If you are based in Lancashire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester, Cheshire or Merseyside and you have between 2 and 249 employees then you may qualify for up to £1000 towards leadership coaching and development for you and your organisation.

Criteria for leadership and management grant
- Organisations must have 2 -249 full time equivalent, paid employees, including social enterprises and charities
- In organisations under 50 employees, the applicant must be the CEO, MD or Owner
- In organisations of 50 employees + the applicant can be either one of above or a role that reports directly into above roles
- The funding must be used for obvious leadership development such as one to one coaching or attendance at leadership programmes. It cannot be used for anything technical such as website development, IT, social media training, health & safety training or CPD.
- The organisation must project growth of 20% year on year for 3 years
- Start ups (less than 12 months) must be projecting turnover to reach £500K in 3 years
- Social enterprises are required to project growth of 10% each year for 3 years.
- Providers must be on the supplier register. If they are not on the register you cannot use their services with the grant
- Companies and applicants that have accessed the grant previously CAN apply for this grant again.
- You can only make one application per organisation so even if you only apply for £500 you cannot apply again later for the rest.
- You may split the funding between different suppliers.
- Before funding is released you must identify the supplier you will use
- The value of the grant is up to £1000 excl vat but all quantities must be matched by your organisation. So if you want to access £1000 then you need to pay £1000 giving you a total of £2000 for development.
- The grant is only confirmed once you have completed your full programme of development and the grant cannot be claimed retrospectively
- The grant will only be available for a limited period or until the pot of funding has been fully allocated
